Grimnalkin is a cat-sprite character from traditional Celtic tales.

 This is the Grimalking candle lamp painted in a color we just call " Spooky" . She holds a votive candle behind her head which , when lit, shines through her red glass eyes and lights up the firey copper colored lining of her cape.

 This cat is about 12 inches tall. She is a cast reproduction of my original sculpture produced by Windstone Editions. (these cats are available through our  online store)

Ooooo, this is amazing! Are the eyes glowing because of the candle behind it? If so, that would be incredibly spooky and awesome to have lit during a power outage! But even if it’s because the flash is reflecting off the eyes, it’s still amazing!

:-) Melody Pena replies: "Yes, this cat has a lit votive candle that sits in a secure cup behind her head. The candle light shines through the red glass eyes and reflects off of her copper painted cape ."

wow oh wow, I love her! your design is magific! The way she glows is something that you constructed artfully! I can imagine having her on my entertainmnt system. I want one.
