SciFi and Fantasy Art domesticated thing ,with saddle by Melody Pena


	I drew this twenty years ago, with prismacolor pencils, using only the grey colors. I'm very fond of this type of drawing; a highly textural figure, with a plain background,but unfortunately,if one spends all their time drawing like this, one never learns to draw backgrounds, and foregrounds! I have lots to learn!

14 Dec 2009	Benjamin	Loading... Hi Melody! About 8 years ago I bought a beautiful print of a unicorn in front of a tree, with a rabbit to the right, leaping out of the frame. It was signed M. Peña, and dated 1981. I just recently rediscovered it and put it up on my wall and was curious to find out who the artist was. Looking at your work, in particular this drawing, I’m sure that I have a print by you, and I just want to say I’ve enjoyed it for years. You’re quite a gifted artist, and I love your detailed fantasical creations. Cheers! Melody Pena replies: " I am sorry if I never responded to this comment! 18 Sep 2010	Joanna	Loading... I bought a print of yours today at a garage sale. I love it. It is dated 1981. LOL that is the year I started dating. It is a family of flying lions. I am going to cut it into a wooden puzzle. I think it is fantastic. I hope I can do it justice. Melody Pena replies: "cut it into a puzzle? sounds interesting!"
