	Detail of the thing's head to show the scales on his lips. The bridle is to keep him from eating too much. See how it holds his mouth shut? Most Americans should wear these, me included.

I did it a long time ago, and my memory its terrible, but that is about how long a large drawing like this usually takes."

Even as ’simple’ as the bridle is, it’s stunning! The detail on the mouth is amazing and I love the texture of the fur! As ’straggly’ as it looks it looks like it would be soft as silk to the touch!
