| 20 Jun 2006 | Starr Raven pierced07@aol...com> | Loading...I bought two. One with a blue eye and one with red. I normally hate red eyes, but there was something about these eyes that seemed different to me. More black with the red.. maybe darker red. I dunno. But I can't wait to get them. I don't know how to paint, but I'm gonna give it a try. If I fail with one, I'll just paint the other one white like the albino one and gloss it. lol Melody Pena replies: "I like to give white pieces a "tea" finish. I brew a strong cup of Earl Grey tea and soak a white unfinished piece in it. It sometimes comes out very nice, the problem is, this method is a little unpredictable. Have you read the tutorial on our website? It will help.(You have to instal "Adobe reader" first, to read it though) http://windstoneeditions.com/Paint%20your%20own%20tutorial.pdf Let me know how you are doing with this project!" | |
