Tag As FavoriteComment		I've dredged up an old one here! This is a plaster casting of the original female griffin sculpture. She was meant to be the mate of the Male Griffin sold by Windstone, but never quite made it to production. She was started in 1985, and still is waiting to be fully detailed.I'll finish her someday!

Hiya Melody. Its Emma Lyke (I just changed the name) I have a question or two: I think I know the answer to this one but is this peice in stores? She would look marvelous on my bedside table. And did you paint her? She looks beautiful in white, but would possibly look better with another colour, or some tint to her feathers. Anyway, I’ve collected three more of your statues: A mother dragon, young oriental dragon, and a baby kiirin. Sorry to pester you with questions but, what are some of your store locations? Anywhere in Washington? I’m usually pretty patient for your replies but I’ve given you my e-mail address so...Thanks for your help,

Your work is amazing, but i just have one question:
How do you determine to how a male and a female differ in appearance with out certain anatomy parts? Are the females just generally smaller in frame or is there a more detailed or significant difference?

:-) Melody Pena replies: "I just decide that one is a female. This one is quite a bit larger than the male griffin, like birds of prey."

I’ve always loved your griffins and I’m glad to see a family emerging for these guys! She’s a beautiful piece. Love the pose you put her in (much like the mother unicorn and pegasus) I really like the way the wings lay on the back. Excellent work.

how in gods name do you do the hands and feet on both dragons and griffons? take pictures of them so i can see closer lol
